Outcomes of a Tolerant Mindset

Is tolerance the final state for social acceptance and social inclusion? In this brief keynote address, John Register will discuss the real outcomes of a tolerant mindset. If it proves that this mindset is costing our organizations a significant amount in terms of ROI, how then can we shift to create a new normal mindset.

About Our Presenter--John Register

John Register is a highly sought after international speaker who uses his life story to show audience members how to live life more courageously. He is a Gulf War Army veteran and a 2 times Olympic trials qualifier who suffered a career ending sports injury which resulted in the amputation of his left leg. Six years after his injury he won the Paralympic silver medal in the long jump in Sydney, Australia. Since that time Register’s ideas and concepts around disability, change, and mindshift have garnered national and international acclaim as he was asked by Secretary of State, Colin Powell, to be one of 8 advisors on disability foreign policy.

Register also founded the United States Olympic Committees Paralympic Military Sports program which helped wounded, ill and injured service members use sports as a tool for their rehabilitation. To learn more about our speaker, please visit johnregister.com.
